5. Intervention Log What does the ‘Intervention Log’ do? This will help to track your academic achievement over the next five week at least Staff will be focused on how you are doing in each of your subjects and the ‘Log’ will give you specific advice on HOW you are going to increase your achievement in each one intended to be a punishment under any circumstances It is purely focused on ACADEMIC achievement- it is not to monitor behaviour or intended to be a punishment under any circumstances

Sixth form help Your son/daughter will be ‘paired’ up with a sixth former who will be their study buddy and mentor to guide them through different revision techniques, strategies and be there for technical support There will be a ‘prep’ session for those targeted as doing poor revision at home to help them focus their learning with their mentor on a Monday after school in C2.6 There will also be sessions during Morning/Afternoon reg on a Tuesday in C2.6

15. Confidence building Every student can achieve their full potential with confidence in their work and their ability The process is designed to be reflective so students learn to build on what is working We hope to nurture this within the sessions held during registration time
