3. * The Bermuda Triangle is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of the U.S.A. * The Bermuda Triangle is known for it mysterious disappearances of ships and airplanes. * The Bermuda Triangle is imaginary triangle that connects with Miami, Bermuda, and San Juan, Puerto Rico!

4. *T*T he most famous US Navy losses which have occurred in the area popularly known as the Bermuda Triangle are USS Cyclops in March 1918 and the aircraft of Flight 19 in December 1945. *D*D ecember 5 th 1945, Flight 19 ( a navy aircraft of the U.S.A.) went missing. Two rescue Martin Mariners aircrafts with 13 man crew were sent to search for the missing flights, but one of the Martin Mariners itself did not return. *T*T he Bermuda Triangle is known for gobbling up ships. In 1918, the USS Cyclops vanished without a trace, taking with it all 306 crew and passengers. The Cyclops was originally launched on May 7, 1910. At 19,000 tons, it was a fairly large ship, and was used as a supply ship until 1917. With World War I in action, the ship was drafted and served with various tasks along the east coast. Sadly, the boat didn’t make it.

5. * Many people have thoughts about what has happened to these missing airplanes and ships. Here are the top three theories: * Magnetic Force * Time Warps * Methane Gas

6. * Many have said that compasses in the Bermuda Triangle spin out of control. Legend has it that the Bermuda Triangle is one of the only two places on Earth where a compass points true north as opposed to the magnetic north. During the 19 th century, a place where a compass pointed true north did not exist.

7. * Time warps are invisible funnels within a prairie or anywhere, in which an unsuspecting person walked and was held into a different time or space. Many people have this theory about time warps. Even though I don’t have this same theory it may be possible! Noooooo!

8. This is what methane gas can do! * Scientist have a theory that there is a huge amount of methane gas trapped thousands of feet under the ocean floor. The methane gas can cause planes and ships to disappear in no time! Volumes of methane gas can get released because of landslides under the ocean floor.

9. * My theory is that people have disappeared because of bad weather. Many weather patterns affect the Bermuda Triangle. Terrible hurricanes have passed through the area over the past 30 years and have caused many ships to sink. Storm systems exiting the U.S. usually strengthen in the Bermuda Triangle during winter and fall because the very warm water in that area helps develop storms quickly without any warning.
