2. Student Card  For the next segment we are going to talk about Student Credit Cards.  Student Cards are Credit Cards issued by banks specifically for students.  Banks like to encourage students to get Credit Cards that are fitting for them so this is a very popular card in the marketplace.

3. Student Card  Student Cards can be great for students to help build their credit!  Generally a bank will issue a Student Card with a low Credit Line.  A Credit Line of $500-$1000 is a general range of what the bank will give for a Student Card.  This is of course to limit the banks risk in issuing the card to Students.

Student Card  A Student Card is generally easy to get for a student.  It can be a very helpful card to build up your credit if it is used properly.  For students it is a better option then a secured card because you do not have to put down a deposit for the card.  This is of course makes it easier for a student who does not have money lying around to give to the bank for a deposit.

Student Card  The main advantages of a Student Card is the ease of approval for getting the card.  There is also generally low or no annual fees with Student Cards.  The main disadvantages is the low Credit Line that will generally be given for the Card.  Another disadvantage is that Student Cards, Like Secured Cards, have very few benefits.  There are Student Cards which have greater benefits then others will.

Student Card  This of course also applies for Secured Cards.  The Student would have to decide which Card is best for him based on his credit situation.  If used properly a Student card can be very helpful for building up credit. It is a great way to start a students credit off right and only continue to improve on it.  Building credit responsibly when you’re a student only helps you for life!
