FPHS Assessment Objectives 1. Assess the services local health departments in Kansas currently provide in relation to the Foundational Public Health Services (FPHS) 2. Explore local health department leader’s perceptions of these services, the gaps they identify in services, and challenges they see in implementing them

FPHS Assessment Literature Review Timeline: January-March Objective: To create a comprehensive list of public health services and functions which will then be mapped for the FPHS model

FPHS Assessment Focus Group/Interviews Timeline: April-July Focus Groups/Interviews: May Objective: To obtain input regarding- FPHS map created through the literature review Perceptions regarding the FPHS model Potential challenges to incorporating the model
