2. Novell Login The first screen you will see when starting up your computer is the Novell Login screen. This program allows you to access the N: drive and print to the lab printer that is on a network.

3. Press OK to continue when you see this screen.. Novell Login Screen

4. Program Freeze If a program you are working in freezes and you are unable to exit press the Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys in that order. This will bring up the Windows Task Manager Select the task you want to end Click on the End Task button.

5. Black Monitor Check to see if the green light is on to signify that the monitor and CPU have power. If not press the monitor power button.

6. Connections Check connections in back of computer to assure that the power is attached firmly.

7. Printer is not working If you press the print button and the document you are trying to print does not come out of the printer, do not press print again until you check the lights on the printer. If not, save your work and report the error to your teacher.

8. Printer Lights There will be an indicator light that will tell you if the printer is out of paper.

9. Adding Paper If your teacher allows you to add paper pull out the tray and place new paper in the tray.

10. Internet is slow Click on stop and reload. Exit out of your browser and enter again. Try using a different site to see if the problem is a high volume of users.
