4. Shihezi University MBBS Shihezi University have been recognized by the Ministry of Education, P.R China to enroll international students for the MBBS degree course in an English medium. Shihezi University is also listed in The World Directory of Medical Universities published by WHO. English is the medium of language to study for the MBBS course and Chinese is a compulsory subject. The degree course is covered of two years of basic medical science, three years of clinical science training and one year of internship. Since the year 2004, the university has enrolled ten batches of medical students from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc into the MBBS degree courses.

6. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Program The MBBS Degree Course is of 5 years + 1 year internship. The students can do internship at the university hospitals or in their own home country in a hospital which is recognized by the Ministry of Health of their home country. If any of the MBBS students wish to do internship in the hospitals of the university in China, they must pass HSK examination, as per regulations of MOE of China before the 6th year internship. Medium of teaching :- Shihezi University, School of Medicine has been teaching MBBS courses in English medium since 2004. 8. Indian students arrive in Shihezi University Every year the students arrive from India and receive a warm welcome at the airport. We arrange a special bus from the airport to the University. All the senior students help the new students to welcome them in the hostel soon after they arrive, Shihezi University. The University makes sure that every new student when they arrive to the hostel after a long travel from India, have a proper refreshments and food to eat in their hostel rooms. The new students are guided by the union members and senior students to show around the University campus, University canteen, Classrooms, laboratory and main attractions in the city.
