Write what the vocabulary word means as it is used in this passage. Who might use this word in real life? When might this word be used? Why did the author choose this word? What other words might be used with this word? Example: The author used this word once before with courage. I think it means being strong and tough. It could be used to describe an athlete in sports or when someone is facing a tough challenge. The author probably used this because it gets a reader to pay more attention than just saying a normal word like strength.
