16 4-Overview of the data collection Process African Economic Outlook Africa Financial Markets Initiative  Collect data on bond markets in RMCs  Web site & Data portal have been developed Making Finance Work for Africa  Data collection ongoing, Data portal under construction Africa Infrastructure Knowledge Program (AIKP)  enhance the original AICD database into a long- term sustainable data system of infrastructure indicators  define and develop analytic knowledge products on infrastructure in Africa  Build sustainable country capacity to collect manage and disseminate infrastructure statistics Build country capacity for MDG Monitoring.

Strenghten data collection process with country economist, Country offices and RMCs and Other Regional Institutions. 2.Strengthen RMC capacity to meet data needs for MDGs and Results Measurements. 3.AIKP : build country capacity; collect and manage infrastructure data; Data analysis and knowledge products 4.ICP Data (Prices and National Accounts) 5.Use of IT : Need to have a automated data collection and management tool 6.Additional resources: SCB 3 7.AfDB New Data Collection and Management System
