32 The Chief Fire Officers’ Association The professional voice of the UK fire and rescue service Debating Questions With the removal of best value indicators and reduction to 2 indicators for the service, should we develop a “best practice” suite of indicators? If so, how should these be developed/promoted/used?

34 The Chief Fire Officers’ Association The professional voice of the UK fire and rescue service Debating Questions Can smaller Authorities deal with the assessment burden (DOT expansion)? If not, should assessment be tailored?

35 The Chief Fire Officers’ Association The professional voice of the UK fire and rescue service Debating Questions How far should (and can) CFOA push its role to be involved in the assessment process.
