6 Sensorfil Ext: Yarn Break Monitoring Two levels of alarm lights to simplify and pilot operators patrolling: 1. Three-colors tower lamps on the headstock of the ring spinning frame. 2. Sectional red spy light on the ring-rail.

7 Sensorfil Ext: Yarn Break Monitoring Yarn Break Alarm Lights: 1. Reduction of patrolling time. 2. Increase of operator efficiency. 3. Decrease of spindles down time.

8 Sensorfil: Yarn Break Monitoring Three-Colors Tower Lamp  1 or 2 Lamps per machine side  Each color is a different level of yarn breaks on that particular machine side.  Examples: All colors OFF = NO breaks 1 st color ON = 1 breaks 2 nd color ON = 5 breaks 3 rd color ON = 10 breaks 3 rd color BLINKING = several breaks

9 Sensorfil Ext: Yarn Break Monitoring Sectional Red Spy Light 1 spy light every section of 24 (standard) or 12 or 8 spindles.

10 Sensorfil Ext: Piloted Patrolling Patrolling without Sensorfil Ext Without yarn breaks signalisation the patrolling is systematic and in continuous on all side in order to avoid high pneumafil waste and lapping problem

11 Sensorfil Ext: Piloted Patrolling Patrolling procedure becomes piloted. Through Tower-Lamp the operator will see immediately if there are yarn breaks in one side. It is no more necessary attending side without yarn breaks. Tower-lamps will provide information about breaks level on the side. Red spy light along the side will help for the identification of the spindles with breaks. Patrolling with Sensorfil Ext

28 Spinning Machines Monitoring Archimede JSpin Monitoring System Circled in red: spindle n° 36 has both yarn breaks and RPM out of tolerance. Circled in Blue: on these spindles there aren’t yarn breaks but there are slippage problems. Operators in charge of patrolling can’t detect this problem. Not detecting this problems means twist quality problem on yarn.

31 Monitoring of Preparation Machine TBox Device: Preparation-to-spinning machines (cards, draw frames, combers, roving frames) can be linked to Archimede JSpin by means of TBox control unit. If Roving Frame are equipped with FANI RFS-1 sensors, roving breakages data are collected.
