4 What is a Proposal Storyboard
A high level representation of how your proposal will unfold, section by section, focusing on the message you want the evaluators to comprehend A conceptual planning tool used to help authors plan each section before drafting text Storyboards are the use of bullets, words, and graphics to outline a concept 1/27/2016 Canerossi Consulting, Inc. Why Storyboard Yes, it’s hard Rapidly get ideas on paper Reduces upfront B&P costs Permits early and iterative management reviews Quick and easy to modify Minimizes idea lock-in Reduces blind reuse of previous art, i.e., the old copy n’ paste the last proposal Drives authors to create content tailored to this customer or this deal Establishes appropriate direction for the writing to prevent unfocused - or even worse, completely irrelevant - content from making it into the proposal But, it’s worth it 1/27/2016 Canerossi Consulting, Inc.
