2 Nancy Reagan, one of the most high-profile and influential first ladies of the 20th century, has died. She was 94. The cause of death was congestive heart failure. "Mrs. Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, next to her husband, Ronald Wilson Reagan, who died on June 5, 2004," Drake wrote in a statement. Like most first ladies, Nancy Reagan was the target of both praise and criticism. In Nancy’s more traditional first lady role, she promoted her "Just Say No" anti-drug campaign. She spoke on the issue around the country and in 1986, joined the president for a televised address to the nation. "We want you to help us create an outspoken intolerance for drug use. For the sake of our children, I implore each of you to be unyielding and inflexible in your opposition to drugs," she said. She also brought an elegance to the White House that some thought was long overdue. When she arrived in Washington, she decided to redecorate the White House and buy expensive new china. However, Reagan was heavily criticized for this given the economic times of the U.S.
