4 1. Biological and Physiological needs - air, food, drink, shelter, warmth, sex, sleep. 2. Safety needs - protection from elements, security, order, law, stability, freedom from fear. 3. Love and belongingness needs - friendship, intimacy, affection and love, - from work group, family, friends, romantic relationships. 4. Esteem needs - achievement, mastery, independence, status, dominance, prestige, self-respect, respect from others. 5. 5 Setting goals gives you long term vision and short term motivation. It helps you to organize your time and your resources so that you can make the most out of life. WHY SET GOALS?

6 To set goals first you create a big picture of what you want to do with your life and identify the large scale goals that you want to achieve. These break down these large scale goals into smaller targets Once you have your plan in place you start working to achieve these goals. PROCESS FOR SETTING GOALS
