3 VA’s Responsibility to Veterans Achieve Contracting Goals Educate and inform veterans about program benefits Offer assistance yearly to all veterans in business Work together with SBA, DOL, ASBDC & DoD to support veterans interested in business ownership Assist agencies through CVE support Verify the accuracy of contractor databases Modify Transition Assistance Program information with the Dept of Labor

4 VA’s Environmental Responsibilities Comply and Lead Federal Government in: –Educating our 235,000 employees & their families –Supporting EO 13221 and EO 13423 –Supporting Green procurement rules –Partnering with our large prime contractors to ensure environmental compliance –Leading by example
