7  The Captain recaps what happened on the battlefield.  As a reward, Duncan tells Ross and Angus to give Macbeth the title of Thane of Cawdor.

11  The first 3 witches recapped what they’ve been doing.  The witches offers Macbeth his predictions.  The witches offers Banquo his prediction  Macbeth and Banquo are in denial.  Ross and Angus give Macbeth his new title.  Macbeth thinks twice about the prediction.
