SR Elite Football Scholarship Programme 2012/2013 Exciting Opportunity: SR Elite Football Scholarship at Southglade Leisure Centre Nottingham SR Elite is looking to recruit their next generation of football talent to add to their current group of talented players and trainee coaches based at Southglade Leisure Centre, Nottingham. SR Elite run their Football Scholarship Scheme in partnership with their parent company SR Education, who are an experienced private training provider based in East Bridgford, Nottingham. SR currently delivers a wide range of quality full and part time vocational sports related training programmes in partnership with various high profile organisations and stakeholders. 2. SR Elite Football Scholarship Programme 2012/2013 SR Elite offers high quality football coaching delivered by highly qualified coaches (minimum of UEFA B licence). The football development programme consists of a combination of between 8 to 10 hours per week of elite training sessions and a competitive games programme. The SR scholars will be given nutritional advice and guidance along with an extensive strength and conditioning programme and personal development plan. This is aimed at helping all players to develop specific aspects of their performance and enable our coaches to maximise the football specific coaching sessions throughout the programme. The competitive games programme will consist of fixtures at a variety of venues across the country. Transport will be provided on match days to and from the venue. SR Elite have strong links and Exit routes with many professional and semi-professional football clubs, universities both in the U.K and U.S.A for the outstanding performers within the groups.

SR Education Programme: The SR Elite Football Scholarship programme will offer a range of sports-based education programmes to successful applicants: BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Sport BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport BTEC Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Sport FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football FA Level 2 Certificate in coaching Football Active IQ - Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction Functional Skills in Maths and English The onsite SR Education state of the art study centre offers the ideal quality teaching environment for all, learners will have access to top of the range IT facilities to help support their studies.
