The superheat temperature is 10deg. - 5deg. = 5deg. Superheat degree = Saturated vapor temperature – Measuring temperature In the following diagram, when pressure inside the evaporator is 0.84 MPa, the temperature is 5deg. A saturation state is reached between A and B with a temperature of 5deg. However, it is gas only between B and C. Therefore, the 30deg. Surrounding air emits heat to the gaseous refrigerant, making the refrigerant temperature rise (sensible heat), e.g to 10deg. The outlet temperature is slightly higher than that in the evaporator. Usage range 3 ͦͦͦ C ≤ SH ≤ 7 ͦͦͦ C
