4 Media & Scale ● Mixed media on mylar ● Collage like medium ● Standard sized canvas ● Size does not really reflect in the main meaning of the piece

5 Purpose ● Convey a variety of themes to the world ● Shows hybridity in a variety of ways and hybridity is the main theme ● Mixing African culture and European culture due to colonialism ● Feminist theme: Women subjected to racism and sexism on a global scale ● Complex history and issues regarding colonialism in Africa
