3. Psalm 19 The heavens declare the glory of God. And the sky reports the work of his hands. Day by day they pour forth speech. Night by night reveals knowledge. There is no speech. And there are no words. Their voice is not heard. Their reach(?) goes out to all the earth. And their speech to the end of the world. Torah psalm – Torah = instruction (from God) -> Bible But begins with creation!

8. Natural revelation Natural revelation = how God reveals (shows) himself through nature Can every human being recognize creation = work of God? Can we know God through nature? Majority -> not really Mind damaged by sin + brokenness Science agrees with special revelation

9. Special revelation God reveals (shows) himself Through history Torah (= Bible) Jesus Christ Now we know who God is! Now we recognize creation = work of God

10. What Rick thinks Christian faith not hostile to science! When we understand both properly Some people think there is a conflict – Enlightenment – Especially 19 th century How we think + perceive reality is damaged Need healing of the mind
