9 Captain’s Responsibilities Inform teams of game and playing court. Have starting line-up recorded on the scoresheet prior to game time. If a game is still being played on your court, you may obtain scoresheets from the supervisor. Toss of the coin by the captains will determine choice of serve or side of court. The captain represents the team and will direct and control its play and be responsible for discussion with the officials. The captain is the only player who may carry on a discussion with the officials. Be familiar with all schedules, rules and other intramural information available for team captains and managers. Recreational Sports Handbook Eligibility Eligibility Keep all fans and players in-line. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.

10 Substitutions Substitutions will be made at the center back position only. Substitution must be part of the regular line-up and must have a term of service. Random substitution may not take place. A consistent serving order must be maintained. Two methods of substitutions are acceptable. Player A may substitute consistently for Player B therefore requiring player B to substitute for player A OR a continuous rotation of players in the same serving must be maintained. In either substitution method, every player must come out of the game after their term of service ends. All players must be listed in serving order on the score sheet. Rotation will be in a clockwise direction. Server OutSub in  RBCB  LB   RF  CF  LF Unlimited Substitution Pattern Note: The only exception to this substation procedure would be in the case of an injury.
