5 Tornado: Business Continuity’s Approach Continuity of operations; never shut completely down Degraded services Manual work around procedures Assess how long before return to building or services back online

6 Tornado: IT Disaster Recovery’s Approach A subset of a business continuity planning and includes planning for resumption of applications, data, hardware, electronic communications (such as networking) and other IT infrastructure.
