5 Circulation Lisa Grabowski, MLIS Did you know that… during Fall and Spring Semesters, the Library is open 7 days a week for a total of 72.5 hours? since June 2007, 123,320 people have entered the Library? we have checked out over 13,000 items - an increase of 5.95% over the previous year? 40% of total circulation is reserve material including microscopes, slides, biology models, textbooks, and math tutorial DVDs? since June 2007, we have added 1,390 new patrons to our database including 1,186 students, 54 employees, 50 high school students, 85 residents, and 15 visitors?

6 Circulation Lisa Grabowski, MLIS Laptop Survey Results* 65% of laptop users like the privacy of being away from others. 21% took the laptop to a study room to work in a group. 65% of users who do not have a computer at home check out a laptop 2 or more times a week at school. As a result of our survey and the high demand, we will purchase 12 additional laptops in July! * Survey of students conducted in Library from 2/25/08-3/7/08
