2 Program Overview Solar resource will be built by j uwi, (pronounced “you-vee”), a developer based out of Boulder, Colorado. Solar farm will be located in Holden, UT and will be in-service by December 2016 Customers will be able to reserve solar blocks Spring 2016. Holden, UT – Annual Sunshine

3 Program Overview Customers can subscribe to solar energy in 200 kwh blocks Subscriber Solar offers an affordable option for customers to participate in solar generation Program is intended to offer additional renewable choices to customers that cannot or do not want to install rooftop solar panels, including customers that rent their property Subscriptions are offered up to 100% of annual usage to residential, commercial and industrial customers High-energy residential users may save money in summer season months (April-October) when they are charged in the 3 rd tier (above 1000 kwh)

4 Program Overview (continued) Rate Schedules 1, 2, 3, 6, 6a, 6b, 8, 9, and 23 are eligible to participate Solar Blocks will offset usage on customer’s monthly bill at the solar subscription rate Customer subscriptions lock in the generation component of the rate schedule for the entire time they are enrolled (up to 20 years) Customer subscriptions can be canceled after 3 years with no fee; cancelations prior to 3 years will be charged $50 per block. Program limited to Utah customers in Rocky Mountain Power territory Customers can retain subscriptions if they move to another site within Rocky Mountain Power territory in Utah (same rate schedule)

6 The Resource Six months after program launch, any unsubscribed blocks will be made available to all eligible revenue classes to ensure 100% subscription rate can be achieved.

7 Sample bills by Revenue Class An average home uses 750 kilowatt hours per month which would mean an additional $3.50 per month or 4.1% more with one block. No upfront costs Transfer subscriptions wherever they live within RMP Utah Paying slightly more for entire electricity bill, but the generation rate will be “fixed” and could hedge against future price increases. Customers can obtain blocks up to annual energy usage, and unused energy in one month will roll forward. Residential Price Comparison - 2 Solar Blocks

13 Timeline Commission Approval received October 2015 Early 2016 Dec 2016 Jan 2017 First Month Subscriber Solar Billing Goal: 100% Subscription rate by January 2017 to ensure all program costs are covered by subscribers only.
