3 Introduction Know the factors of a successful business in Malaysia Success is define as the thing that you achieved A business can be said to be successful if it is expanding its market share and increasing its profits. Production or volume of operations increasing significantly overtime. Business that is successful will have the volume of the business operations and profits growing and expanding overtime

4 LITERATURE REVIEW Study by Menon (1999), stated that innovative culture is the fundamental antecedent of effective marketing strategy making and that strategy creativity directly affects market performance of an organization. This implies that organizational culture and managerial creativity are important attributes in the development of strategy. L.C. Leonidou, C.S. Katsikeas and S. Samiee (2002) found that a firm that changes its activities toward new ideas and applies innovation as a valuable resource is likely to use higher levels of product adaptation.

5 F.M. Moghaddam (2011) defines marketing strategies include product strategy like product design and warranties, price strategy that should be based on customer demands, promotion strategy that promotes performance by encouraging consumers and place strategy that focuses on distribution.

7 DATA ANALYSIS AIA Group Ltd This company has substantially increased in the proportional market share, profitability, productivity in terms of labor and output, product quality and business cost for the last 3 years. The respondent has agreed that all of the factors are very important to be in the development and success in their business Innovation created by the organization can be maintained because all the staff are cooperating with each other. Company has established more than 10 years and has around 100 employees. Their annual turnover are between RM 1 million and RM 5 million.

8 Alfi Aluminium Sdn. Bhd Established since 1996 Annual turnover of less than RM200,000. Has increased its market share and also their profitability. Agree that they have meet their customers demand and this can maintain their profit margins. They also make innovation in the manufacturing process Disagree that the innovation that has been made will be maintained. It shows that that the innovation made by them was not successful.

9 Zara Crystal Sdn. Bhd Company has substantially increased in the proportional market share, profitability, productivity in terms of labor and output, product quality and business cost during the last 3 years. Believe that their product can meet with the customer demand as the increased of the sales during the early stage There also have inefficiencies in product delivery with suppliers and customers because of the staff attitudes and other reasons. Annual turnover are between RM0 and RM200 000

10 K.W. Business services annual turnover is high which is between RM1 million to RM5 million. Company is in the good position because of substantially increased in the business performance There is innovation made and it is an improvement from their existing services. Employee are given chances to make innovation. Critical thinking is a part of the organizational culture. No inefficiencies in product delivery with suppliers and customers.

11 Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) Company’s innovation in marketing techniques, methods and efforts to improve the quality of the publicity is very important for the company. Substantial demand, continuous effort to increase supply to sustain production and profit margin. There are inefficiencies encountered by the organization as inefficiencies are inevitable but the organization’s business process goes through continuous improvement to ensure consistency in production. The organization has economic model in-place to invest only in value creating ventures. Annual turnover is more than RM 25 million.

12 C Two Engineering Service company focus on manufacturing, construction and others. Agree that business venture is important to improvement on a new idea or an improvement of an existing service to make innovation This company has increased in substantial demand for the product and the business can meet demand and maintain profit margin. Annual turnover between RM 200000 and RM 1 million. In sector of performance market share, quality and productivity in the last 3 years has increased and have an effort to achieve their goal

13 CONCLUSION Most of the company has increases their profitability, output, labor and business cost in the last 3 years. All the business organization meets demand and maintain profit margin. The key factor of success company strategy in the market is the decision of standardization or adaptation to local and foreign markets conditions. Companies in Malaysia are aware that there are factors that can affect the international marketing strategy development. This is important to make their company success to go through international and will meet long-term growth.
