2. Pyramids
A pyramid is a large building pointing up in the air. It is four triangles going into one point. The biggest pyramid in the world is called The Great Pyramid Of Khufu. Over 2 million blocks of stone were made to construct the pyramid. In a pyramid there is a tomb and in that tomb lays a coffin with their dead Egyptian pharaohs(kings). Their pharaohs get put in the coffin with all of their precious possessions.

3. Sphinx
A sphinx is a statue of a lion body and a human head. Sphinx guard pyramids so no one could break in and steal the goods from the tombs. Sometimes sphinx are in myths that people tell other people. One sphinx is called The Great Sphinx. The great sphinx is now to be believed that it has the head of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh, Khafra.

4. Hieroglyphics
Hieroglyphics were used by ancient Egyptians to write stuff. Hieroglyphics are pictures drawn on walls. They are usually found in pyramids, tombs, Kings chambers and Queens chambers. This is my name in hieroglyphics:

5. Toothpaste
The Egyptians invented there own form of toothpaste. The Egyptians had a lot of trouble with their teeth because their bread had grit and sand in it . While they didn't have dentistry, they did make some effort to keep their teeth clean. Archaeologists have found toothpicks buried alongside mummies, apparently placed there so that they could clean bits of food from between their teeth in the afterlife. They also invented the first toothbrushes, which were ends of wooden twigs.

6. Medicine
The ancient Egyptians had a wide variety of medicines and cures. Some of their medicines were quite strange. For example, they used honey and human brains to cure eye infections. They also used whole cooked mouse to help cure coughs.

7. Makeup
The ancient Egyptian men and women used makeup. They invented makeup in 4000BC. Their favourite makeup colours were green and black. The black makeup was made out of coal. The green makeup was made out of malachite.
