2 Threats  Humans are their only threat. Deforestation, poaching, and being killed by ranchers have pushed jaguars to be a near threatened species.

3 Diet The Jaguar eats deer, monkey, sloths, rodents, birds, turtles, frogs, reptiles, fish, and domestic cattle.

4 Habitat Jaguar are located in South and Central America, humid areas near water.

5 Reproduction Young Jaguars depend on their mothers for two years before living on their own. Females reach sexual maturity at age two to three. Males reach maturity at ages three to four.

6 FACTS -The Jaguar is the biggest big cat in the Americas. -The tail provides extra balance when running on branches -The jaguar posses one of the most lethal bites of all of the big cats.
