3  This school is located at 96 Anson High Rd in Wadesboro, NC.  This school has a student population of around 100 students. The requirements for acceptance into this program is that the students maintain an A/B average in a traditional school setting. The students are required to do a series of projects in and out of school to maintain their acceptance in the program. Students are also required to complete community service projects.  This school is unique because all of their lessons are computer based. The students still have complete assess of an instructor for guidance.  The 21 st Century Skills used at ANTS are the use of technology, between administration, teachers, students, and peers.  ANTS students work in group setting on a daily basis. They also are responsible for completing projects using different forms of technology. The biggest thing this program promotes is learning new skills that are essential and promoting higher level of thinking. All classes are on a honors level.

6 K12  K12 is an exclusively online school. This online school has thousands of students throughout the United States.  The students who are enrolled in this program are considered to be homeschoolers.  The K12 program operates 100% online. The program also employs teachers to monitor students progress and assist when needed. This program operates on the curriculum that each state has approved.  K12 meets the 21 st Century Skills definition by operating through the use of technology, allowing the students to collaborate on creating lessons that follows curriculum. The students can work at a pace that works best for them. The students have the ability to collaborate with other students via this program.  This school promotes creativity by allowing the students to incorporate their interests into their lessons through the use of technology.  The K12 program also encourages parents and students to form study groups, play dates, and field trips that bring online students together. This also increases social skills and cultural acceptance.

9 Anson County Early College is a high school combined with an Associates Degree program The student population varies. The acceptance of this program is just like the traditional high school. The only thing that differs about this program is that studies are aligned to meet the state’s high school graduate’s degree program in conjunction with the associate’s curriculum degree program. Most high schools function on a four year system wherein the Anson Early College program takes five years to complete. The 21 st Century Skills being utilized in this program is the use of technology and teacher guided instruction. This program is a career readiness program. Also this program provides the necessary courses students can use and transfer to a university or college for continued education.
