3. To celebrate Independence Day in India, we gaze down the ornate arches of the Hall of Public Audience in Agra Fort. The fort, a walled city within the city, is considered the other major attraction in Agra. (The Taj Mahal being better known.) The newest portions of Agra Fort were built during the golden age of Mughal architecture, during the 17 th century.
