Allow plenty of time to write and research the project Be flexible and resilient. Don’t worry about plans changing Follow opportunities that arise. When requesting a visit somewhere, be very specific about what you want to see, why and what you will do with the information? I found it handy to suggest a day and time. Honour what you promise. Take a laptop but take notes as you go with pen and paper. Pack really light!!!!! Don’t travel entirely on your own. Enjoy the journey. Don’t attempt to do too much. Do a rough budget. Your Itinerary You are required to write a report on what you have learned These are published on the trust website You are given a template. You are expected to promote what you have learned and the Fellowships Report and Promoting the Trust
