PIMS Calendar Update PIMS Calendar has been updated: Staff Student Subtest deadline (collection for PVAAS roster pre-population) is 11:59 pm on March 21, 2016 Deadline has been correctly indicated in all PVAAS materials available on the login page Deadline is now correctly reflected on the PIMS calendar HARD DEADLINE: no collection or update window. Very important for LEAs to submit on time! E-mail from PDE, Dave Ream (Chief, Division of Data Quality) to PIMS Administrators on 2/3/16 informing them of the calendar update Copy was forwarded to PAIU-CC by Kristen Lewald on 2/4: please share with your LEA staff responsible for oversight of PIMS and/or PVAAS roster verification

5. Roster Verification Phases Spring 2016 Dates Admins should make sure the system is ready for teachers! Teachers can Preview BUT cannot edit during this phase! Please note the adjustment for the opening and closing of each phase. Phases close at 11:59 on the Friday indicated, and the next phase officially begins at 12 midnight on Saturday. Email notifications of phase openings will be sent on Mondays.

7. What’s New in the PVAAS RV Application? Copying Rosters Users can copy students from any roster that s/he has access to – into a new roster Batch Printing of Overclaimed Students and/or Underclaimed Students Users at both the school and district levels can batch print lists of overclaimed and underclaimed students. Users access this feature by clicking Print from within their RV Summary, and then selecting “Print Overclaimed Students” or “Print Underclaimed Students” Roster History Report Displays all actions performed on rosters to which the user has access – including when another user submitted the roster, or when the roster was auto-submitted at the closing of an RV phase Accessible to all users from within their RV Summary page
