3. Answer…  The sentence must begin with a capital letter.  The sentence must end with a punctuation mark.  The sentence must have a subject… Who or what the sentence is about (noun)  The sentence must have a predicate… What the subject does or says (verb)

6. Simple Subjects  The simple subject of a sentence is just the NOUN in the subject.  Example: The seven children ran to school on Monday morning.
