6 INTERVENTION: 5 PERSONS WERE SPONSORED TO ACCESS ECDVU PROGRAM University of Ibadan Obafemi Awolowo University Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council Universal Basic Education Commission 6

7 PROGRAMS INITIATED ECE Postgraduate Diploma programs have been designed and implemented at the University of Ibadan ECD Center for Excellence and Innovation has been created and functional at the same University ECE curriculum for both Diploma and Bachelor Degree Program had been revised Developed Training Manual for Caregivers and Preschool teachers Scale up training for in-service teachers for pre and primary schools Participate in the development of Early Learning Standards for Pre school children Designed ECD M.Phil and Ph.D programs Designed undergraduate program but yet to take off Annual seminar for Private ECD providers in Osun state of Nigeria Book of reading on ECD has been produced Participated in the development of one year curriculum for five year olds Participated in the development of Early Learning Standards 7
