8 Grant Closeout Process DHS Grantees should notify current participants and applicable landlords of 2015 closeout as soon as possible Current participants may be assisted through the 2015 closeout date New participants may be entered on the program with the understanding that assistance will end by the 2015 closeout date

9 Grant Closeout Process Leasing Assistance (RRHI, TSHLAP) may be utilized as needed. Program FMR must still be followed. Regular program requirements will still be effective for the 2014-15 operating year ▫HMIS Data Entry, Monthly Billings, etc. Grant agreements between DHS and Grantees will be ended by the DHS Office of Contracts and Purchasing after the 2014-15 operating year

11 New Family Re-Housing Program Grant HUD grant application submitted and award announcements are expected Spring 2015 If awarded, FRP will begin 10/1/15 and be eligible for renewal funding annually FRP is a PH-RRH program for families coming directly from streets or shelter ▫Current RRHI, TSHLAP and RHSS participants are not eligible

12 New Family Re-Housing Program Grant Operate in all geographic areas of the Balance of State CoC Create 198 new PH-RRH units and eligible costs include: ▫Rental Assistance (12 months; 18 months maximum) ▫Supportive Services ▫Admin DHS will release an Invitation to Bid on Buy4Michigan Eligible grantees will be local Housing Assessment and Resource Agencies (HARAs)
