Daily calorie intake (quantity) Nutritional daily requirements 1.676 to 743 calories for infants between six and twelve months of age, depending on gender. 2.The American Heart Association recommends approximately 900 calories per day for 1-year- old males and females. 3.According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2010, 2-year-old boys and girls need about 1,000 calories each day for healthy weight maintenance.

Special nutritional requirements for the age (vitamins, minerals) Nutritional daily requirements The vitamins and minerals needed for infants are the following: -Calcium: Needed for strong teeth and bones. -Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Regulate nervous system and improves immune system. -Iron: Produces hemoglobin. -Magnesium: Keeps bones healthy and a stable cardiac rhythm. -Potassium: Maintains and regulates blood pressure. -Zinc: Aids in digestive and metabolic process. -Vitamin A: Prevents infections and helps in cell and tissue growth (hair, nails, skin). -Vitamin C: Forms and repairs red blood cells, bones and tissues. Helps the organism to absorb iron. -Vitamin D: Helps the organism to absorb calcium and build healthy teeth and bones. It is necessary for growth process. -Vitamin E: It’s important for the immune system, DNA repair and metabolic proceses.

What types of groups of food should be avoided according to the age Nutritional daily requirements 1.Honey might cause bolutism 2.Whole milk (only after the child is 1 year old) 3.No nuts – they might cause allergies or be choking hazards.

specific recommendations of : Aerobic exercise –The term aerobic means "with oxygen," Aerobic exercise provides cardiovascular conditioning, it controls the amount of oxygen that can make it to the muscles to help them burn fuel and move. –Infants can be introduced to water sports such as swimming. As soon as they begin walking, they can go to hikes that are not too steep for them. Running and cycling (they need to begin with tricycles) are also good for small children. Anaerobic exercise –Anaerobic exercise is used to improve resistance in the body for marathons. It is a brief activity of great intensity where metabolism develops. Some examples of this type of exercise are: biking sprints, swimming sprints, running sprints, and weight lifting. –People under the age of 16 years should not be doing this type of exercise. Pregnant women shouldn’t practice them either. –So for babies on the age from 0 to 6 months old is impossible to practice them.

Needed quantity of sleep hours per day 1.Your 6-month old should be taking 2-4 naps per day for a total of 2-3 hours per day plus 11-12 hours at night. 2.Between the ages of 1 and 2, most kids need about 12-14 hours of sleep a day, including one or two daytime naps. At around 18 months, or sometimes sooner, most toddlers condense their two naps into one afternoon nap.
