3. History 1987: Company is founded by Steen Moller, under the name of SM Elektronik, literally in his own living room. First products include Low Noise Amplifier for NMT450 band & LNA’s for GPS Systems. 1990: Moved to more spacious environment at Sigerslevostervej, company now resides in the west wing of the family farm house. Company focus at this time is mainly contract design of RF equipment 1994: First employee hired, second followed soon after… 1999 COMM-connect brand launched First handheld SWR analyzer launched, and immediately becomes the antenna analyzer of choice for many technicians and engineers 2005 Company changes name to COMM-connect A/S, and company focus is adjusted to also include international markets 2013 Founder Steen Moller decides to step down from the role of Managing Director, and focus on the technology side. Steen continues to serve as chairman of the board of executives. New Managing Director is Thomas Pedersen, who joins the company with extensive electronics development experience from companies like Olivetti, Intel & Jabra(GN Netcom).
