All things came from a single cause: the First Cause.

Every effect comes from a cause or causes.

All things came from a single cause: the First Cause. Every effect comes from a cause or causes. There was one First Cause from which all the effects around us, including ourselves, came from a beginning some 14 billion years ago.

Miraculous events came from this First Cause, the first being the creation of the universe:

Time

Miraculous events came from this First Cause, the first being the creation of the universe: Time Space

Miraculous events came from this First Cause, the first being the creation of the universe: Time Space Physical Matter

From this one cause came other miraculous effects:

About 1.4 million years ago plants evolved from the substances created at that one moment of creation.

From this one cause came other miraculous effects: About 1.4 million years ago plants evolved from the substances created at that one moment of creation. Some 1.3 million years ago animals evolved from things that came to life in this same process of causes and effects.

From this one cause came other miraculous effects: About 1.4 million years ago plants evolved from the substances created at that one moment of creation. Some 1.3 million years ago animals evolved from things that came to life in this same process of causes and effects. Approximately 50,0000 years ago man achieved full behavioral modernity with basic human functions and qualities.

From our point in history all of these events would seem to be miraculous:

We have not detected or made other universes.

From our point in history all of these events would seem to be miraculous: We have not detected or made other universes. We have not made or seen the separate creation of plant or animal life in the sophisticated forms we know today.

From our point in history all of these events would seem to be miraculous: We have not detected or made other universes. We have not made or seen the separate creation of plant or animal life in the sophisticated forms we know today. Man’s intellectual and emotional abilities are a complete surprise within this process.

Many animals have the power of movement from place to place, the outer senses of hearing, sight, taste, smell, and touch; and some have emotions and thoughts.

Man is an animal, but man’s intelligence and essential nature are different. People have thought, comprehension, and memory; and discover, invent, and imagine new things.

Many animals have the power of movement from place to place, the outer senses of hearing, sight, taste, smell, and touch; and some have emotions and thoughts. Man is an animal, but man’s intelligence and essential nature are different. People have thought, comprehension, and memory; and discovers, invents, and imagines new things. And man possesses a unique, improbable and miraculous property—an eternal part, a soul. This is as miraculous as all of the other effects of creation.

From man’s mental abilities come sciences, arts, and inventions.

People create tribes, cities, countries, and civilizations.

I will no longer be sorrowful and grieved: I will be a happy and joyful being. O God! I will no longer be full of anxiety, Nor will I let trouble harass me. I will not dwell on the unpleasant things of life. O God! Thou art more friend to me than I am to myself. I dedicate myself to Thee, O Lord!
