2. Electronics and Communications is an industry that has changed our lives. In a very short period it has changed the way we have looked at things since centuries. It is one industry that is going to shape our future for centuries to come. Hence my desire to do masters in electrical engineering with communications as my major.My interest in Electrical dates back the early days of my high school. My career objective is to pursue research in the field of Electrical Engineering. I am of firm conviction that suitable opportunity to pursue graduate studies will help in my endeavor towards realizing my goal, paving the path for self- actualization.

3. My fascination towards Electronics and its related areas from childhood had intrigued me to opt for Electronic and communication. When I was in 8 th standard, my father explained me about particles that were beyond the vision of our naked eye ! Those were the electrons, protons and neutrons.I was totally fascinated when I heard about these. Again in class 11 th when I was about to buy a new phone, I researched about all the phones available, their specifications and every bit of them in detail for 1 year and brought it after giving my final boards exam after class 12 ! That incident gave me a huge boost to my knowledge and interest towards electronics.

4. During my college studies I always had an enthusiasm in observing the practical application of the subjects I studied. Studies of subjects like electronic devices and circuits,pulse digital circuits,linear integrated circuit analysis, cellular and mobile communication, microprocessor and interfacing etc., in my career gave me an ongoing interest in the field of Electronics and communication. I had developed various projects and present in the events conducted in our college and in other colleges. I had represented the college at national level technical events conducted by other institutions. This real life experience helped me in understanding the importance of sequencing and optimizing a task in a better way. I also did a Real time project work on “Wireless gestures controlled robot with video and voice capture” using Embedded systems as Front end & Embedded C as Back end. I think I have a very good exposure in the field of Application Development using different tools.

5. Having done a rigorous groundwork in both theoretical and applied electronics & comm.., now I am in a position to peep into the realm of higher studies. I am extremely hard working and sincere in all my endeavors; I am an ambitious person with immense will power.It has been my long cherished dream to become a researcher and eventually come out as a good electrical engineer, equipped enough to contribute to the larger community. Though I have secured a little less than of what your requirement is that is 1100 in my GRE score. But to gain more expertise, I wish to undertake my graduate study at your prestigious University, which has the best of facilities. I think yours is a right place that would suit my interests and aspirations the best. If you give me a chance to prove myself as a researcher, it would be a fine opportunity to realize my dreams and to give a proper fulfillment to my otherwise brilliant academic career.

6. At this point I feel that pursuing Postgraduate studies in Electronics and Communications engineering & related subjects would be the right thing to do, as it would put my abilities and interest together. Graduate studies in ECE will give me all-round exposure in engineering. I would thus be able to contribute towards the growth of the field and develop the best appropriate career for myself.
