6 ©2008 The eLearning Guild 6 Listen up Adjustments you make locally can improve the quality and consistency of your audio over the internet.  Adjust the volume control on your own system — in Windows, Control Panel or — physical buttons on PC or headset cord  Try a different headset

7 ©2008 The eLearning Guild 7 Consider your connection… Wireless, low-bandwidth or congested connections may experience a reduced flow of data. This may result in poor sound quality, delayed images, or dropped connection.

8 ©2008 The eLearning Guild 8 Get Wired! Adjustments you make locally can improve the quality and consistency of your session connection.  Use a wired (not wireless) Internet connection  Shut down unneeded applications  Set your My Connection Speed setting accurately

9 DO NOT Enter as a Guest! DO NOT Enter as a Guest! When joining sessions, use the SECOND login option to Enter with your login and Password

10 Click here to access Adobe’s connection self test: https://na1.connect.acrobat.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm Test your connection to the session

11 Adjust Meeting menu> My Connection Speed setting Once you test your connection, set your My Connection Speed to the appropriate option.

13 ©2008 The eLearning Guild 13 Use My Status to provide feedback or request change The presenter might say: “Change your status to Thumbs Up if you’re able to hear me.”

14 When the Presenter is sharing applications… You can also adapt using Scale to Fit or Scroll You can enlarge your display by clicking Full Screen (when enabled) in the corner of the Share pod Use Scale to Fit to resize Shared Apps. Use Scroll to increase display size. Screen will scroll when Presenter moves mouse.
