11. Begin looking for outside scholarships in Naviance & internet sites (ex: Cappex.com, Fastweb.com, MeritAid.com) Attend Blue Valley Financial Aid Night in December. Request Mid-year Transcript for Common App & when needed (mid-late January) FAFSA (Free Application for Student Aid) required for all types of financial aid. This is found at www.fafsa.ed.gov.www.fafsa.ed.gov FAFSA should be filed by March 1, 2016 if possible. CCS/Profile – available at collegeboard.org under “Pay for College” – there is a fee (Usually highly selective schools only) Schedule one more on-campus visit for winter or spring to finalize your decision Calendar-Winter
