2 Entry Task Entry Task: Today we are checking out Things Fall Apart, you will be required to read approximately 30 pages for each class session and collect two quotes on a motif found in the novel. On your entry task paper answer the following: What are you going to do to be successful with your reading and journal entries? What is a motif? How does it relate to the theme of the novel?

Students will evaluate sources for subjectivity/objectivity and usefulness Students will examine the credibility of a text or its author Students will learn to avoid plagiarism and maintain accuracy by properly citing research in writing and speech

6 Solution Paper – due date This week we will be finishing your solution paper. Today and Thursday you will have access to the Chrome book computers. Final, Typed Essay due on March 23 rd. With your paper you will turn in your note taking forms and stakeholder handout. We will be working on the presentation on March 23rd

7 Computers Feedback I have given you feedback on your essays. Make sure you read the feedback and work on the suggested elements. I will not be giving you feedback on your work today unless you request my help.

8 Exit Task Reflect on the learning targets for today. Do you feel you met the targets?
