5  Engage NY- past years tests, student response samples, passages for practice and enrichment  Reading EVERY NIGHT! Minimum 60 minutes  Ask your students questions about what they have read… For example: Why did the character act the way they did? How do you think the character is feeling? What do you think will happen next? Why did the author include this in the story?

6  Engage NY- previous years’ sample questions and responses  Review multiplication and division math facts  Check in with your student each night with their test prep and regular math homework  Work with students to complete multi- step work problems (Back page of textbook homework)
