4.   Amelia went to the University of Colorado in 2002 and that’s were she came up with the flight idea.  In 2004 Amelia started taking flying lessons with a cranky instructor.  She flew for 8 years to make sure her flying skills were perfect.  She prepared for the around the world flight for 2 years. 5. When she went Amelia Rose Earhart took off at Oakland International Airport at 8:00 AM on June 26 th, 2014. This is a picture of the plane she successfully flew the mission in. In the plane there`s a GPS, iPad and Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi is wireless internet).

6. Why I chose this article I chose this article because I did not know a lot about Amelia Earhart and it was cool to find out that someone actually did it. I like to learn about flying because my Dad works on a plane and my Uncle is a pilot. Amelia Earhart is a good person to admire. She even started a foundation to help girls learn to fly in 2013 called the Fly with Amelia Foundation.
