I classify them as: fishy clouds

I think that this is a cirrus cloud because it is thin and wispy. I took it at 5:00 P.M. I think it looks like a ghostly worm. It was taken in my uncle’s backyard. I took this picture in my back yard. I classify it as: a wispy guy

These clouds appear to be nimbostratus. I don’t like these clouds because they make the sky and the day dull. These clouds cover the sky in blanket like layers. They usually produce steady precipitation. I took the pictures at 11:00 A.M. It was taken in my backyard. I classify them as: dull tarp clouds

These pictures were taken at 7:00 A.M. they were taken in my backyard. I classify them as: wispy guys

I think these clouds are considered stratocumulus because they are puffy, plump, and chubby but they cover portions of the sky like a blanket. There were also cirrus clouds in the sky. I took the pictures above and left at 8:00 A.M. They were taken near my house. I think these clouds are considered stratocumulus because they are puffy, plump, and chubby but they cover portions of the sky like a blanket. There were also cirrus clouds in the sky. I took the pictures above and left at 8:00 A.M. They were taken near my house. I classify the stratocumulus as: fluffyblanket type clouds the cirrus are wispyguys

These clouds are plain old stratus, I can tell because of the flat shape. I took the pictures at 8:00 A.M. They were taken in my backyard. I classify them as: dull tarp clouds

#2 #1 #3 I went to the beach with my dad to see the sun rise over the water in Hilton Head in August 17, 2012. I think the clouds in pictures #1 & 2 are altocumulus which create a wonderful mackerel sky. I can’t identify #3 very well but I think it is a cirrocumulus cloud because part of it is wispy and other parts of the cloud are just plain puffy. # 1 & 2 were taken right before the clock struck 6:00 A.M. #3 was taken 20 minutes after that. Fishy clouds and puffy wispy guys are shown in this picture

#4 #5 These pictures were taken in Hilton Head S.C. when I was on vacations in August 17 2012. #4 was taken at 8:00 A.M The clouds were very nice in this image so I decided to include it in my project. I think they are cirrostratus because they are flat like a blanket and at the same time they are wispy.#5 was taken at 4:00 P.M. I think the clouds in this picture are cumulus because they look like cotton balls floating in the air. In here we have wispy blanket clouds and cotton clouds

Glossary Altocumulus. Also known as mackerel sky it is a cloud made of water droplets that is the middle of the sky and is puffy often has “ripples”. Pg 1, 2, & 8 Cirrostratus.
