6 The Administrators’ Duties At over 90% of the Institutions: Maintains IACUC related records Prepares for meetings (e.g. agendas and logistics) At over 85%: Prescreens IACUC protocols Completes annual reports (e.g. OLAW, USDA and AALAC) Writes the IO report, and answers related questions for the IO At over 75% Trains new IACUC members Facilitates the renewal of the PHS Assurance Ensures deficiencies (i.e. program reviews & inspections) are satisfied Facilitates and manages IACUC investigations Ensures non-compliance sanctions are tracked and satisfied
