1 SOURCE CARD PRACTICE A source card contains a citation, which is an abbreviation you will use to create a Works Cited.

2 A source card for a book should be as follows: Last name, First name. Title. City of publication: Publisher, date. Print. Make sure that you use the hanging indent and correct punctuation.

3 Let’s practice. You can find the title and author on the outside/front. Look at the second page to find the date and city.
