2 The Role of the District *The Building of local Exchange Clubs. Help Strengthen established clubs. Increase fellowship between clubs. Promote the National Program of Service. Provide additional leadership Opportunities. Conduct educational conferences & seminars. Sponsor an Annual Convention. Communicate important & relevant information. Assist with strategic planning for clubs. Be an informational resource for local clubs.

3 Your Responsibilities 1. Serve as a Key Member of the District Board of Directors. 2. Provide Service to the Clubs in your Division. 3. Ensure Club Officers are Trained in a Timely manner. 4. Promote Growth & Retention. 5. Be a Resource for your clubs. 6. Be a Recorder / Reporter / Liaison for your clubs..

4 Actively participate. Help prepare district plan of action. Oversee district budget. Help plan conferences & convention. Review proposed amendments. As A Board Member

5 Visit Your clubs. Be a coach. Survey resources. Install officers. Hold Division meetings. Service

6 Report A - function properly? Report B - keep members interested. Report C - follow a plan, participate on district, national level. Report D - train incoming officers. Reporting Your Visits to the Board
