The Steps In Problem solving SABELO SAKHILE SIHLONGONYANA g15s1870 INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER AND TECHNOLOGY g15s1870 1

Outline (1)Problems and issues of school learners (2)Complains amongst them (3)Why are they complaining? (4)Problem analysis (5)Possible solutions towards their issues (6)Motivation towards their issues g15s1870 2

Step 1: Identification and Selection of problems  People do not use one process to solve problems and issues or to make decisions  People are not consistent in how they solve problems  They did not find what works for them  They make mistake of doing one and the same thing  Students leave the class early  They do not respect one another  They have a problem of taking the advantage for a new teacher g15s1870 3

Step 2:Analyse the problem  Analysing the problem, It has shown that student are complaining too much.  Due to the fact that they are complaining too much that is showing that they have so many concerns.  Its has been shown that they don’t respect one another including their teacher.  Learners are taking the advantage towards a new teacher.  Due to the fact that they arrive late that shows that they have problem of failing to wake up early.  Due to the fact that some coming late that means they having a problem of transport. g15s1870 4

Step 3:General Potential Solutions  Different types of transports must be organised so that all of them will be well accommodated.  Tough punishment must be given to those that does not respect one another and the teacher as well.  The must be a school conferences to be organised by the school so that,  They will get the type of issues that learners face in the school environment and in their homes even in their communities. g15s1870 5

Step 4:Select and plan the solution  Though all agreed to implement changes from being negative to positive.  The cause of unsuccessful informed decision is that,  Not all of them took responsibility and Some have poor listening skills.  Some are not willing to take initiatives  Those that are willing are affected by factors like, the accumulation of school work.  Thus due to the fact that the previous approach didn’t work, that means the school must reschedule the school time table so that all will be well accommodated. g15s1870 6

7 Solution analysis

Step 5:Implement the solution  School rules must be taught everyone must be responsible and they all must take initiative.  They must send letters in to the community and to their parents.  This is done for the community, parents and teachers to work together.  The must ask pastors around the community to come maybe twice a week to pray for their children  Thus is where everyone will good and understand the purpose of being at school  So thus everyone who listened the his or her future will be bright g15s1870 8

Step 6: evaluate the solution  Analysing and evaluating the solutions it has found that the majority took initiatives beside the new enrolling students.  Thus due to this fact,It is still for the new students for them to be out of control.  Thus they must tell them and force them to obey new school rules  For those that are still aggressive they must Chace them out of the school because it is clear that they are not in school to study but to fulfil their purposes.  Thus the school must call the meeting every Friday so that they will see there progress of g15s1870 9

MOTIVATION  Due the increase in issues faced by these students I can say that the reason to go to school is to study and get or reward regardless of any situation you come across.  For those students that are scared of others they must be strong and report this issue to the teachers if teachers fail to handle it no way but they must go to the police.  For those students that abuse others they must remember the meaning of being a student.  Being a student means you are learning thus you must listen and pay attention to what ever instruction given to you based on school rules and the rules of being you. g15s1870 10

Identification and selection of problems Problem analysis of this issues Possible solutions in this issue Solution evaluation and impossible solution analysis g15s187 0 11 The problem solving loop Evaluation of the solution Impleme ntation of solution
