2 Circles of Attention review 3 circles: First- focusing on your own body and items extremely close to you. Ex: looking at part of your body, something held by you, looking t the rug beneath your feet. Second- Focusing on other items onstage. Ex: other actors, scenery, other props, and anything imagined on the stage Third- focusing on something outside of the stage space. Ex: imagined setting, recalled memory Third circle always requires using the imagination to “paint the picture” for the audience.
