1 Lecture 16 international human rights law Human right from the point of view of general practice it is difficult to define. They are regarded as fundamental and inalienable rights which are essential for life as human being. They are divided into 3 first, second third generation.

2 16.2 First- political and civil Second – economic, social and cultural Third –group rights They are covered by a number of multilateral institutions- UN Universal Declaration of human rights of 1948.

3 10.3 The exercise of right may be subject to restrictions but the restrictions must be provided for by law and must be necessary to protect national security, public order, public health and morals or the rights and freedoms of others The right to work, medical and social servces and social security and limitations which compatible to the enjoyment of the rights. For serious breach tribunals have been set to adjudicate over cases- gross abuse of human rights. Institutions have been set up to deal with matters and were reporting can be done.
