11. Elections of members of the Executive Committee This year all the offices and many of the ordinary committee members positions came up for re-election. Some members have retired or resigned and some have decided to join the board of the Le:Notre Institute. The previous committee also included a large number of co-opted members who needed to be elected to the committee, although some also resigned. Nominations were opened and at the close of the nomination period, on the 31 August, only one nomination was received for each officer position – president, vice-president, secretary general and treasurer – and the number of nominations for ordinary members did not exceed the maximum number of available places according to the statutes. Thus there was no need for a formal election and all nominated persons are elected unopposed.
